The renovation project for Ibn Al Nafees Hospital in Bahrain represents a significant step in redefining healthcare interiors with a focus on user well-being and modern functionality. As the first interior design studio in Bahrain specialized in healthcare design, our role has been to transform key areas of the hospital while keeping patients, visitors, and staff at the heart of the process. To date, our work has encompassed multiple departments โ including the entrance, ground floor, emergency, pharmacy, physiotherapy, maternity, fertility clinic, 3rd floor, and 6th floor โ with future phases planned for additional sectors yet to be unveiled. The design approach emphasizes a calm, supportive environment through biophilic elements such as greenery, neutral tones, and minimal forms, helping to reduce stress and promote healing while maintaining professional efficiency.
The renovation journey is far from complete, with upcoming phases promising even more innovation. Each step reinforces our commitment to creating healthcare spaces that are not only functional but also restorative, setting new standards for patient-centered design in Bahrain.
